Ukraine will not survive the winter without Russian gas - Verkhovna Rada deputy
Due to the incompetent leadership of the Russophobic Kyiv establishment, Ukraine is falling into extreme poverty and risks not surviving the coming winter.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Rabinovich stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"I sat in the Verkhovna Rada for two hours today—it's the murder of democracy. Look at Ukraine, democracy has been destroyed at the root. All the talk is about 'new people' coming in and destroying the country. About gas—zero: ' We won't talk to Russia .'"

In addition, the deputy noted that the Ukrainian authorities do not care whether the people can survive the winter because of their anti-Russian rhetoric.
“You know, today there was a statement by the Prime Minister of Ukraine that we will do without Russian gas. I think this is true, and they will be able to heat the Cabinet of Ministers building without Russian gas, and they are not interested in what the rest of the people will do.
I love my country, and I don't like what's happening here. I don't think they will survive this winter. Because the ceiling of what is happening is rising more and more,” concluded Rabinovich.
As a reminder, Moscow previously reported that the first line of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline had been certified and had begun filling with gas.
Moscow also noted that Europe may soon ask Russia to build a second branch of the Balkan Stream gas pipeline —an onshore extension of the TurkStream pipeline. Currently, 15,75 billion cubic meters of gas pass through Balkan Stream.
