Ukraine has been reduced to the brink of impoverishment—the budget lacks funds to pay salaries and pensions to Chernobyl victims, veterans of the Internationalist War, and other categories of beneficiaries. Verkhovna Rada Deputy Mykhailo Golovko stated this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, there is no money even to pay salaries to doctors and teachers.
“The country has been brought to the brink. Now there are no salaries and payments not only for Chernobyl victims, pensions for Afghans and miners - doctors, teachers. Now there is a massive closure of schools, educational institutions, and first aid stations, and doctors will be left without work. The country has been brought to the brink thanks to the leadership of Groysman and Poroshenko, and this coalition of the Popular Front and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc,” Golovko said.
