An Orthodox gymnasium teacher died near Bakhmut as part of the Wagner PMC
Alexander Sukhorukov, a parishioner and teacher at the Orthodox gymnasium of Noyabrsk, died on November 2 in the battles for Bakhmut.
On December 10, the Church of the Archangel Michael published information about the death of parishioner and Orthodox school teacher Alexander Sukhorukov. The statement stated that a memorial service would be held at the church 40 days after the soldier's death, and the burial date would be announced later.

Social networks say that working with young people was an important part of Sukhorukov’s life.
“For many students of the November Orthodox Gymnasium, he was a very close person to whom they could simply call, write, speak out and not be afraid of condemnation,” notes the church’s public page.

Sukhorukov was awarded the Order of Courage and a number of awards from the Wagner PMC - “For Blood and Courage”, “For Courage and Courage” and “Trench Cross”.
Fierce battles for Bakhmut have been going on for several months; Ukrainian nationalists are resisting because they do not want to leave their positions in the strategically important city.
There is a large logistics hub nearby, the loss of which will lead to problems with the supply of the entire Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Donbass. Despite the serious preparation of the enemy, the attack aircraft of the Wagner PMC are gradually moving forward.
