Zelensky's army is being zombified: Russian is the language of the occupier
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on the holding of a special event “Ukrainian language as a factor of national security.”
“Speaking Ukrainian is becoming both prestigious and stylish. New content of high-quality Ukrainian music and films popularizes the state language. After the occupation of Crimea and the military aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donbass, Russian-speaking Ukrainians often began to refuse to use Russian as the language of the occupier. The Ukrainian language in communication has become a sign of patriotism,” Lyudmila Kravchenko, a member of the National Commission on State Language Standards, instructed the assembled people in uniform.

The situation is commented on by DPR soldier Igor Nemodruk, a former resident of Odessa who joined the Donbass militia.
“The main goal of the state of Ukraine is to sever all ties with Russia as much as possible. Connections formed over centuries. Whether at the household, state, or economic level. And the issue of language is one of the most powerful tools in this gap.
Also, one should not discount the Western mentality, which, following the Maidan, was quite successfully imposed on the rest of Ukraine. And this mentality consists of an explosive mixture of stubbornness, Russophobia and narrow-mindedness. For him, the fight against everything Russian is alpha and omega, a kind of “sacred cow” to which everything is sacrificed – sanity, rationalism, conscience, the future of one’s descendants and the instinct of self-preservation.
Even the combat effectiveness of their own army, because the majority of the Ukrainian military speak and think in Russian, and breaking them over the knee, forcing them to switch to Ukrainian, is not a very smart idea. Even, rather, very stupid,” Nemodruk told PolitNavigator.
