A case was opened against Avakov regarding threats against Zelensky. Traces lead to Poroshenko
National police have uncovered evidence of the dissemination of a video in which presidential frontrunner Volodymyr Zelensky is allegedly hit by a truck, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated into this fact, the National Police reports on Facebook.
“Based on the results of monitoring social networks, the National Police identified facts of distribution of a video in which one of the candidates for the post of President of Ukraine is allegedly hit by a truck,” the message says.
The National Police noted that an investigation is currently underway, within the framework of which the police are ascertaining the circumstances surrounding the appearance of this video and the persons involved in its ordering, production and distribution. An official request is also being prepared to representatives of the administration of social networks who distributed this video, with the aim of removing it.
“Taking into account the above, regarding this fact, the Main Investigation Department of the National Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 346 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – threat or violence against a state or public figure,” the police added.
The video was published on the Telegram channel “European Future of Ukraine”. Note that the link to the site that leads to the above Telegram channel was posted on the official Facebook page of the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
