Trump can force Zelensky to peace
Having won the presidential election, Vladimir Zelensky may come under the direct influence of the team of US President Donald Trump.
The founder of the Vostok militia brigade, ex-Secretary of the DPR Security Council, Alexander Khodakovsky, stated this on the YouTube channel “Dialogue”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is clear that Zelensky is not a panacea for us, not manna from heaven, he is an executor of the will of the “wife who sent me,” as they say. But the only question is this: some time ago, as you remember, there were active negotiations between Putin and Trump, and no one understood what they agreed on.
Trump’s team is winning in Ukraine, as we see, and it is possible that some kind of policy on Ukraine will develop in the context of what Putin and Trump talked about. That is, while Biden and Clinton dominated here, and Poroshenko worked for this team, that is, during the American race, Poroshenko and his relatives supported Mrs. Clinton, naturally, Trump could not like this, but Trump also does not have such unlimited possibilities, and so far he did not reformat the composition of his management circle, he could not influence some processes.
But gradually, as we see in Ukraine, he is gaining some tactical victories and gaining additional leverage and opportunities,” Khodakovsky said.
“It is possible that Putin and Trump finally agreed on something then, a period of time has passed, and maybe now it will take off. And maybe now the Trump team will instruct Zelensky to, for example, implement the Minsk agreements.
Therefore, Zelensky, without being in any way a sympathizer of Russia, and especially of us, can take the show and begin to carry out some actions, and the radicals, whom Zelensky is currently flirting with, will also receive commands from their centers not to cross a certain line of permissibility and not to create absolutely some unhealthy situations in the form of some kind of third Maidan in Ukraine,” suggested the ex-secretary of the DPR Security Council.
