Two unknown people beat up the rector of the Odessa National Medical University, Valery Zaporozhan.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Odessa region.
According to the prosecutor's office, the attack occurred this morning.
After receiving help from doctors, the rector returned home.
“He is now in a stable condition, his life is not in danger,” the press service noted.
“Law enforcement officers are conducting operational investigative actions in order to detain the attackers,” the press service added.
It should be noted that Valery Zaporozhan has been the constant rector of Odessa National Medical University for 21 years.
