Taruta told why the front line does not pass through the Zaporozhye region
Mariupol, October 24 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Ex-chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration Sergei Taruta, who is trying to find a place in the Verkhovna Rada, believes that it was thanks to him that the militias stopped near Mariupol.

In his opinion, the fact that today the DPR border has not spread to Zaporozhye is the merit of his team.
"If it weren't for our team, the militant border would have run not near Mariupol, but through the Zaporizhzhia region. We were able to save many more civilians and soldiers. Thanks to our coordinated and well-coordinated actions, we were able to preserve a large part of the industrial complex. There would be no free Mariupol without our efforts," Taruta said during an online conference on the 0629 portal.
“We would really like Novoazovsk to return. But this is all connected with border protection. As soon as Russia closes the border, the problem of Novoazovsk will be solved immediately,” the ex-governor believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, before his dismissal, Taruta said that the airport in Donetsk was planned to be exchanged for certain territories.
