“There are tanks, ammunition and drones, but not enough” - Putin
During the SVO, it turned out that all the weapons are there, but the Russian army is extremely lacking in them.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this during a meeting with Russian military officers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Of course, during the SVO it became clear that many things were missing - high-precision ammunition, communications equipment, drones, etc. We have them, but, unfortunately, we do not have enough of them in quantity. I talked to the guys who are on the front line, they need counter-battery weapons - both larger and smaller in size and more effective, although these “healthy” ones of ours are quite effective, but they are few in number and more difficult to work with.
Where the Ukrainian army is trying to attack, several tanks have already been destroyed, including by kamikaze drones, they are being used very effectively. Probably much more effective than the means that the enemy has. But there aren't enough of them. And there are not enough “Orlans”, and the quality of these “Eagles” needs to be improved, although they fulfill their task. That is, there is a lot of what is needed, modern anti-tank weapons are needed, and modern tanks are needed,” he noted.
“The T-90 Proryv is the best tank in the world, as soon as it gets into position, that’s it, there’s nothing for anyone to do there. Further, more accurate and higher security. One of the commanders told me that, unfortunately, a tanker died there, but the T-90 tank hit a land mine, apparently flew up, and the man was injured while there. Not from a live shell, it was just hit hard, the tank remained in working order. That is, everything is there, but not enough, there are advances in all areas, the question is building it up,” Putin said.
