The priest of the Russian Orthodox Church laments: soon church shops will sell matryoshka dolls and coloring books
The traditional Russian church economy is practically dead, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This disappointing conclusion was made in his telegram channel “Orthodox Politics” by the conservative archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Vsevolod Chaplin.

The book can soon be buried (only free distribution of information in electronic form will remain). Donations in churches are becoming dramatically smaller,” laments the archpriest.
According to Chaplin, it is likely that soon church enterprises of the Russian Orthodox Church will switch to producing nesting dolls with rulers and coloring books with animals.
“But this market has already been mastered by many... So there is only one way out: just live within your means. And there will be no more of them than, say, consumer cooperatives or rural medicine,” the clergyman laments.
