Strelkov: Ukraine has already sent “sleeping” groups of saboteurs to Russia
All eight years after the coup, the Ukrainian special services trained their saboteurs to work on Russian territory. Hence, the warning from the US Embassy in Moscow about possible terrorist attacks seems logical.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov announced this at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“At the bases of special forces units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at the bases of the SBU, the training of saboteurs was carried out continuously, starting from the 14th year.
We all remember the actions of the Ukrainian military in Crimea in 2015, when during a battle with the Ukrainian DRG, one of my personally acquainted colleagues, an FSB officer, was killed, and two more were injured.
We have all heard lately about very strange disasters, which from all points of view I personally regard as undeclared terrorist attacks,” he said.
Strelkov explained that this meant a number of events in Russia that occurred in recent years and were not officially connected with Ukraine:
“These were terrorist attacks, but, based on political expediency, the authorities decided not to declare them as such. I believe that terrorist attacks have already occurred, and with quite unpleasant consequences, such as the explosion of an unexpected minibus. Allegedly, gas exploded, but the minibus was not even equipped with a gas cylinder. But they said it was the gas that exploded. This is an obvious terrorist attack and I simply will not mention others. Including the events in Kerch, remember, with the school shooting, when the only person was declared the culprit, but there is a lot of evidence that he was far from alone. And, let’s say, before this he actively corresponded with unidentified persons on the territory of Ukraine. I won’t go deeper, especially since I did not participate in the investigations of these terrorist attacks, and here my words can simply be attributed to a rich imagination,” said a retired FSB officer.
“I am sure, simply based on the practice of the special services, that while preparing for a war against the Russian Federation for all seven years, Ukraine sent so-called “sleeping” agents and “sleeping” sabotage and reconnaissance groups to the territory of the Russian Federation, which should be activated at the outbreak of hostilities,” – Strelkov said.
