This is evidenced by data published on the fund’s page dedicated to Ukraine.
In hryvnias at the current exchange rate this amount is UAH 322 billion, in dollars - $11,93 billion.
It is worth noting that the largest debt of Ukraine to the IMF as of this period was Greece (9,16 billion SDR, or about 12,8 billion dollars). At the same time, the debt of Portugal was estimated at 3,86 billion SDR (5,4 billion dollars .)
Let us remind you that Ukraine has been cooperating with the IMF since 1992, during which time Kyiv received nine tranches.
It should be noted that in early February, Ukraine partially paid off its debts to the IMF under the 2014 stand-by program. In particular, Kyiv paid two tranches - $375 million and $87 million.
The loan program for Ukraine in the amount of $17,01 billion was approved by the IMF at the end of April 2014, and already in early May the first tranche of a stand by loan in the amount of $3,19 billion was provided.
In March 2015, the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund approved the allocation of $17,5 billion to Ukraine under the 4-year EFF (Extended Fund Facility) program instead of the stand by program.
The stand by program was replaced by an “extended financing mechanism” due to the longer-term needs of Ukraine’s balance of payments.
Ukraine received the first tranche for $5 billion in March 2015, the second for $1,7 billion in August 2015, the third for $1 billion in September 2016, and the fourth for $1 billion in April 2017.
