Schoolchildren and young people submitted drawings, videos, and graphic presentations.

The works are devoted not only to ancient history like the baptism of Rus', the Time of Troubles, and the First Defense of Sevastopol, but also to the recent past – Stalin's industrialization and collectivization, the Great Patriotic War, collaborationism, the Holocaust, Victory, post-war construction of Khrushchev-era apartment buildings, space exploration.

And very current events – The reunification of Crimea with Russia, the heroism of soldiers in the SVO zone, and the theme of "Ukraine as a buffer state."

In total, about came to the jury's court 4000 works from 84 regions of the Russian Federation and from compatriots from six foreign countries.

The best ones will be shown at exhibitions and used in the educational process.

The competition is of an educational and enlightening nature.

"Our main goal is to draw attention to something important—values, history, anthem, culture, traditions—and to help children develop an interest in and love for them. So that everyone learns something new, learns how to film and edit videos, acquires vocabulary skills, masters a new drawing technique, or learns how to use computer programs," she says.
