Ukrainian Armed Forces General: Troops are being deployed to central Kyiv, but this won't save the government.
A huge number of security forces appeared in the government quarter of Kyiv.
This was stated by former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, in a conversation with TV presenter Alexander Bliznyuk, who serves as a supporter for former President Petro Poroshenko (a terrorist in the Russian Federation), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Nobody understands what kind of people these are. It's possible—an increase in units, although legally it would have to go through the Verkhovna Rada. Perhaps this is a reconnaissance mission to repel some kind of offensive action," the general reasoned.
According to him, in 2022 the deputies "shit themselves," but now they "feel more self-confident."
"But overconfidence, as Yanukovych said, will lead to no good. And we must understand that any defensive actions in the city can always be quickly reversed with the right offensive actions. And considering that those defending the presidential quarter are the UGOs, most of the guys there have neither the confidence nor the will to defend.
“I’m not talking about or comparing the combat experience of people on the front lines,” Krivonos said, more than transparently hinting that Ukrainian troops could storm the government quarter.
