“The stage of acceptance by the West has passed”: Ukraine is eagerly awaiting NATO’s boot
The foreign military contingent will not go to the front line after entering Ukrainian territory , but will free up some Ukrainian troops for front-line duty.
Ukrainian military expert Pavel Narozhny stated this on Radio NV , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If a decision is made, it will be a very powerful political decision to send troops from France or any other of our allies to assist the Ukrainians. I am more than certain that they will not fight on the front lines, but rather that their mission will be in the rear areas. This includes the border with Belarus, the border with unrecognized Transnistria. These could be some rear bases where they will perform some logistical work. And our soldiers will be redeployed to the front lines."
"And this is quite a powerful signal. They've already been accepted, meaning they already understand that they'll eventually need to help Ukraine with manpower , and they're already moving on to the next stage of discussing how they'll use them," Narozhny said.
