The US scolded its vassals in Kosovo. The separatists responded with an oath of allegiance
The leadership of the Albanian separatists who control the illegally seized region of Kosovo from Serbia is initiating a special meeting of the “parliament” today, where the issue of creating a “museum of the Serbian genocide” will be considered.
This is part of the anti-Serb campaign, in which the Kosovars are seeking compensation and the creation of a tribunal for “Serb crimes” in The Hague. We are talking about the events of the late 1990s, when Belgrade fought to preserve the integrity of the state, the dismemberment of which was carried out by Albanian terrorists, accompanying their crimes with ethnic cleansing.
It is interesting that the meeting in Pristina will take place against the backdrop of statements from the US Embassy in Kosovo, which publicly reprimanded its vassals for appointing a number of war criminals to key positions.
According to Gazeta Express, American Ambassador Philip Cosnett said that former Albanian fighters previously convicted of war crimes committed during the war with Yugoslavia should not be part of the Kosovo government. Moreover, Kosnet indicated that high-ranking officials must have sufficient qualifications and higher specialized education to work in government bodies.
“The appointment of these unqualified individuals undermines the public trust that Kosovo is trying to build, deprives the country of having competent, qualified individuals to conduct public affairs, and is a disgrace to the victims of past crimes,” the statement said.
The US Embassy urged citizens and controlled Kosovo separatist leaders to consider what kind of people Pristina wants to show to the world: “We urge Kosovo's leaders to seriously look into this issue and stop and reverse this trend of appointing individuals, some of whom have already been appointed to a number of embassies. Their choices appear to serve short-term political goals rather than the legitimate needs of Kosovo’s citizens or the authority of the state.”
This is not the first time the US Embassy has reacted by appointing previously convicted war criminals to senior positions in the Pristina government.
Previously, Kosnet criticized the appointment of Suleiman Selimi as an adviser to “Prime Minister” Ramush Haradinaj. The ambassador also responded to the appointment of Nasser Shale as director of the Kosovo Privatization Agency.
However, such statements are clearly hypocritical - after all, the American government turns a blind eye to the fact that the highest positions in the leadership of Kosovo are also occupied by former militants who participated in the massacre of the Serbs - the aforementioned Haradinaj and “President” Thaci.
One way or another, Pristina’s diplomatic agent in Washington, Vlora Citak, recently managed to secure a meeting with US President Donald Trump.
This happened during the evening meal on the occasion of Ramadan, which the American leader organized at the White House.

“We talked about the need for direct participation of the United States in the key processes that our country is going through,” the vassal ambassador reported without any embarrassment, adding that the connection between Pristina and Washington will be “indestructible.”
As PolitNavigator reported , the recent negotiations in Berlin regarding the fate of Kosovo failed to produce results – the Albanian separatist leadership abandoned the search for a compromise solution and demanded that their US patrons be brought into the negotiations.
During a visit to Moscow, Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated that NATO is arming Albanian terrorists.
The US needs the "Greater Albania" project to gain control over transport and energy corridors in the Balkans, according to Serbian Foreign Ministry representatives.
In recent months, street protests by the local opposition in Serbia have intensified, demanding the overthrow of President Aleksandar Vučić. Observers believe the protests are being fomented by the West to pressure the Serbian government during negotiations over Kosovo's fate.
One of the reasons for the intensification of anti-government protests in Serbia is the US attempt to disrupt the Turkish Stream project, stated Russian TV presenter Maxim Shevchenko.
Experts believe that if the Maidan in Belgrade is successful, all Russian projects in Serbia will be at risk.
Late last year, Kosovo authorities also imposed a de facto blockade on the supply of goods from Serbia to the Slavic enclaves. Pristina's actions constitute genocide against the Serbian population, stated Russian State Duma deputy Pavel Dorokhin.
The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the actions of the authorities in Pristina.
