Hiding behind the struggle between parties, the United States cleverly withdrew from the Ukrainian project, which had become toxic for them.
Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on air on the Vyshka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In American politics, the “internal rustle” between Republicans and Democrats was a smokescreen as a technology for getting out of the war. Because we can already record as a fact the fallacy of the American strategy associated with the confidence that Ukraine can quickly and effectively mobilize,” Ermolaev said.
“The practice of two years has shown that society is in a difficult state. A huge migration flow, society in a difficult economic situation, the state of the military-industrial complex. And everything is not so simple with sociocultural processes.
This means, as in the case of Afghanistan, there is a risk that the Ukrainian project could undermine the reputation, image and economy of the United States. Reducing risks, moving from “Bidonomics”, aid and distribution, to “Trumponomics”, even before the elections, is a new geopolitical choice. Which is already happening,” he added.
