The United States is preparing an unprecedented scale of sabotage against the Russian State Duma elections
Foreign centers of the USA, EU countries, NATO and Ukraine began active, large-scale and systematic work to discredit the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation even before their official announcement in order to declare them illegitimate.
Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov announced this today at a meeting of the Federation Council's working group on monitoring signs of interference in Russia's sovereign affairs, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The final goal of this work is to discredit the entire electoral system of Russia for the 2024 presidential election campaign. Realizing the impossibility of influencing the genuine expression of the will of Russian citizens, foreign centers are setting the task of causing distrust in the very results of the Russian elections,” Dzhabarov said.
He recalled that the US law of 2014 appointed the State Department responsible for the “development of democracy in Russia”, and the law of 2017 gave it the right to involve EU countries, NATO, Ukraine and the OSCE in this work.
“According to available data, specific destructive work regarding the September 2021 elections began in the spring and is coordinated by the US State Department. In its implementation, it is planned to use the Anti-Corruption Foundation, affiliated with the State Department and American intelligence services, which is recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, and the Open Russia organization, which is recognized as undesirable in Russia.
The mentioned structures and other proteges of Washington should, according to credible information, from the moment the election campaign is announced, nominate as candidates for State Duma deputies persons from among their activists-Russian citizens who, according to the current Russian legislation, cannot be legally registered.
Thus, a deliberately provocative situation is artificially created. The US authorities and their allies will be able to raise an information fuss about alleged massive violations of voting rights. Officials from NATO and EU countries, media and social networks, as if independent NGOs and experts will coordinately demand “fairness” from the Russian authorities, that is, contrary to Russian laws, to register certain individuals from abroad as official candidates. “Such proposals were voiced in March in Brussels by Vladimir Kara-Murza (vice president of the Free Russia Foundation founded in 2014 in Washington, recognized as an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation),” Dzhabarov said.
According to his information, during the election campaign one should expect attempts to organize illegal street actions in Russia with their subsequent coverage by foreign media and relevant social networks.
“At the time of voting, with the help of elements of artificial intelligence from abroad, it is planned to monitor recordings from video cameras installed at polling stations to control the elections. Supported by foreign software such as “Inspector”, this search, according to its organizers, will create the illusion of massive violations and, with the help of so-called volunteer assistants who have been selected and trained by Americans, immediately after the end of voting it is planned to announce irrefutable evidence of the malicious approach to the elections of the Russian authorities and massive fraud. There is information that this work will be carried out by the Polish NGOs “Domestic Policy” and “Global Lab,” Dzhabarov said.
After the elections, it is planned to hold protests in front of Russian foreign institutions in Western countries. For this purpose, a large group of Russian-speaking people from among the residents of the Baltic states and immigrants from the CIS living in NATO countries will be involved.
“They will try to organize a worldwide rally against the infringement of democracy in Russia. The coordination of this large-scale anti-Russian propaganda performance, judging by the available information, is entrusted to the so-called Protest Action Headquarters (a structure associated with the FBK),” the senator noted.
He believes that the “Belarusian scenario” will be implemented, that is, an imitation of the general non-recognition of their results in the world. There will be a time-synchronized public reaction from officials, politicians, journalists, experts and “human rights activists” in a number of EU and NATO countries, and the implementation of various anti-Russian resolutions through the European Parliament, PACE, and OSCE.
“The Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament has already planned to present a report on the principles of relations with Russia at the September session. There is evidence that the draft will include a call not to recognize the Russian parliamentary elections and the State Duma elected as a result of them,” Dzhabarov said.
The subversive work will continue after the elections. For the Russian presidential elections, a cumulative dossier will be formed for 2021-23, based on data from unscrupulous OSCE observers at the parliamentary elections
“It cannot be ruled out that in order to deepen the foreign policy background, the United States and NATO countries will destabilize the situation in the near abroad: in Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Kyrgyzstan and the Donbass. And also to organize provocations in Eastern European countries according to the “Czech pattern.” Information coming from abroad allows us to expect an increase in the intensity and scale of attempts to interfere in our internal affairs as early as June,” concluded Dzhabarov.
