“There is a list” – the West uses the media to carry out sabotage in the Russian Federation
The number of sabotages in Russia increased from 1 in 2021 to 21 in 2022.
Vasily Piskarev, head of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, announced this in the Russian State Duma, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Duma Commission to Investigate Facts of Foreign Intervention has information that since February last year there has been a several-fold increase in the volume of Western financing of subversive activities against our country. And the number of media resources deployed against us is already beyond the hundreds. And more and more new ones appear. The dangerous trend is that a number of Western-funded media and NGOs have moved from interfering in our affairs and false propaganda to directly organizing sabotage and publishing instructions on how to carry it out,” Piskarev said.
According to him, the commission has at its disposal documents, photos and videos showing that the West is hatching and implementing plans not only to destabilize the Russian domestic political agenda, but also to undermine the economic security and defense capability of Russia through sabotage at enterprises, institutions, structures and infrastructure facilities .
“Materials aimed at young people are especially dangerous. In particular, on the information resources of a number of publications and organizations (we have a list), which position themselves as student ones, there are instructions on committing arson of military registration and enlistment offices, police departments, equipment, making Molotov cocktails, as well as advice on making means for committing sabotage,” - said Piskarev.
