The speaker of the Polish Senate accused Russia of the growth of Bandera in Ukraine
Warsaw – Kyiv, April 1 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – Speaker of the Polish Senate Bohdan Borusewicz rejected Russia's proposal to jointly condemn the UPA's atrocities against Poles. According to Borusewicz, the Polish News Agency reports that the proposal is "unacceptable."

The ethnic Ukrainian, Chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, suggested that Poland jointly condemn the UPA atrocities against the Poles and other nations.
“The fact is that there was a large portrait of (Stepan) Bandera on the Maidan, which was not pleasant for us, but we understand that the interpretation of history may be different,” Borusevich responded. At the same time, Borusevich blamed... Russia for the growing popularity of the Bandera ideology in Ukraine.
He told the Polish News Agency that “the growing influence of the historical memory of Ukrainian units stained by crimes and the formation of a totalitarian ideology is largely the result of actions carried out by the Russian Federation since the end of February 2014 against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.”
The Kresy portal reminds that the Ukrainian Insurgent Army is responsible for the genocide of more than 100 Poles from the eastern borders during the Second World War and after it.
