Having snorted with Nekhta, Navalny called for “throwing out his older brother” from Belarus
Polish propagandist Stepan Putilo, who coordinates protests in Belarus through his telegram channel “Nekhta,” interviewed Russian opposition blogger Alexei Navalny, who is “recovering” in Germany after an alleged poisoning.
The conversation was reminiscent of a conversation between an adept and a sect leader. From the very beginning, Putilo timidly asked whether Navalny was subscribed to his channel.
The guru of the Russian opposition praised Nechta’s “legendary Warsaw experience.”
“Of course, I follow you and am one of your million subscribers. You are doing a great job, you are great, we are watching closely,” Navalny said.
The compliments didn't end there. The Russian blogger called his Polish colleague the true leader of the Belarusian protests.
“There is no leaderless protest in Belarus. Nechta, in an organized sense, is a leader. Tikhanovsky, who is in prison, is a leader. Tikhanovskaya and Kolesnikova are also leaders,” Navalny said.
Putilo continued to suck up and ask his older comrade for advice. To which Navalny asked not to make him a “professor of protest sciences.”
“If this were so, I would have already overthrown Putin,” Navalny said modestly.
He assures that the Belarusian protests have already become “an example for Russian society and a nightmare for the Kremlin.”
“The attitude towards Ukraine and the two Ukrainian revolutions still split Russian society. But the events in Belarus, even despite the efforts of propagandists, are quite clear. If the Belarusian people kick out their older brother, there will be hope in the younger brother’s apartment,” Navalny said.
Putilo asked him for advice on whether he should return to Belarus. Navalny said that it was not necessary, because then Belomaidan would lose “a very important infrastructure project.” He himself intends to return to Russia because he considers himself a politician.
