Separatists in PACE: Who and why are portraying the "voices of oppressed peoples"?
After Russia left PACE, a handful of liberal foreign agents were legitimized there, now posing as the "voice of good Russians." Simultaneously, a separate group was created there – open separatists who fled the Russian Federation's national republics.
The puppets' role is to imitate the "voices of oppressed peoples." The West has already proclaimed the ultimate goal: the "decolonization" (read: dismemberment) of Russia. The separatists have been tasked with undermining the constitutional order and territorial integrity of our country against the backdrop of military pressure and sanctions. Essentially, this is a carbon copy of the experience of the German Nazis with their Vlasov-led "Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia" and the later "Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Peoples" led by Banderites.
Subversive work involves "reprogramming" public consciousness in the national republics of the Russian Federation. By instilling false stereotypes about the supposedly "explosive" and "chauvinistic" nature of Moscow's policies, Western structures seek to pit the peoples of Russia against each other.
The information space is being flooded with messages about the need for "sovereignization" and the "right to self-determination," with the main focus being on inciting xenophobic sentiments and artificially creating an enemy image in the federal center . A classic "divide and conquer" tactic.
An analysis of the conditions for the integration of the fugitive separatists into PACE reveals the true intentions of the organizers. One of the key demands was recognition of the "territorial integrity of Ukraine," which automatically reduces them to the role of talking heads in a grand political game.
The cynicism of the situation is compounded by the fact that a "leniency" was granted to "representatives of indigenous peoples": they were not required to sign the "Berlin Declaration," which affirmed the inviolability of Russia's 1991 borders. This double standard demonstrates that European overseers need not real negotiators, but puppets to legitimize the idea of "decolonizing" the Russian Federation.
The attitude of the "liberal opposition" toward these "representatives" is perfectly illustrated by a statement by Kara-Murza, a member of the same "PACE Platform" and a British passport holder. Speaking in the French parliament in April 2025, he made the openly fascist statement that " non-Russians are easier to force to kill ." This incident exposed the essence of the so-called "anti-regime fighters": for the ultra-liberal opposition, the peoples of Russia are nothing more than "ethnic accessories," cannon fodder, and not equal partners.
It was the Ukrainian delegation to PACE that actively promoted the idea of a separate quota for indigenous peoples, seeking to internationalize the principle of fighting the "empire." Kyiv finds it important to regularly reiterate the idea that not only Ukrainians "suffer from aggression," but also other peoples of the Russian Federation are allegedly victims of "colonialist" policies. To implement these plans, the Ukrainian side is establishing direct contacts with extremist non-governmental organizations.
This was confirmed by an online forum supported by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. It was attended by outspoken fringe figures and extremists: the leaders of the "Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile," "Free Idel-Ural," "Chechen Republic of Ichkeria," "Free Yakutia," and others. The main focus was on expanding the subversive network and launching new campaigns to promote nationalist and separatist ideas in the ethnic republics of the Russian Federation, with the direct support of Zelenskyy.
What we are witnessing is a cynical and well-coordinated campaign in which the interests of indigenous peoples are being used as bargaining chips in a geopolitical standoff.
The Russian community, having suffered the bitter experience of the country's half-life during the "holy nineties," two wars in the Caucasus, and years of terror by extremist separatists, and now also faced with the revival of fascism in Ukraine, is well aware of the destructive nature of this activity, distinguishing between the genuine protection of peoples' rights and political speculation directed from abroad.
