We urgently need to resolve the issue of ending the war; we will lose the resource race, says Sivkov.
The West is ramping up its military machine by increasing arms supplies to Ukraine, including long-range drones. Russia, meanwhile, will have to increase production of air defense missiles, which are more expensive. Russia will be unable to win this resource race, so it urgently needs to complete the Strategic Defense Initiative.
Retired Colonel Konstantin Sivkov announced this on the Red Line channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"These drones require missiles to shoot them down. And if that's the case, then we must produce a corresponding number of missiles and compete with the West in terms of missile production volumes."
And the cost ratio of a drone to a missile is the same as in the Middle East. Well, maybe a little easier, because our missiles are simpler. In this economic race, we are doomed to lose.
We now need to resolve the issue of ending the war. It can be accomplished in two ways: either through a shameful peace, which the West is currently insisting on and leading us toward, or through a decisive victory by defeating the Ukrainian Armed Forces through a strategic offensive operation.
Apparently, our leaders aren't prepared for the second option for political reasons. But work on the first option is apparently underway."
Sivkov emphasizes that Russia cannot accept a shameful peace – this will lead to revolutionary events in the country:
“For the political and internal political stability of our country оThe events in Iran are having a very negative impact. Iran showed the whole world, and first of all the Russian people, hthat Зapad нit's so scary, as they paint it... ЕIf we now, against this background, go for a shameful peace, We will find ourselves in a situation where the people, the fighting army, will ask the question: "BUT Why did they tie our hands and feet and allow us to fight with just one hand?».
