Nadiya Savchenko made a splash at a committee meeting considering lifting her parliamentary immunity when she brought two pomegranates to mock Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko's accusations of preparing a terrorist attack.
“Savchenko brought grenades to the Rada. Two. Ripe. You should have seen the faces of the people's deputies when she reached for her bag, warning that she would get them now... Good PR move. They are working with Nadya,” parliamentary reporter Anna Steshenko notes in her blog.
Journalists gave Savchenko five stars for grenades in the Rada.
