“The Russians are cutting off Artyomovsk using our tactics in Kherson” – Ukrainian Armed Forces medic
If the Russians manage to take Artyomovsk, cutting off the main routes, then the outcome of the battle for Donbass can be considered decided.
The notorious Maidan activist, physician Gennady Druzenko, who had previously called for the castration of Russian prisoners, announced this on the Alpha Media channel, returning from Artyomovsk on rotation, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we have a rotation change in the east, we change most of the doctors every month, and statistics came to me: last month there was a record number of wounded who passed through our hands alone, 1909 - that’s more than 60 a day, and this is only a small section of the front - Bakhmut, Liman, two directions. ...
There is a serious war going on there, truly a full blown meat grinder. And not only the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting there (disclaimer, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - ed.), there are “Wagnerian” directions. There are also motivated, angry people fighting there, whom they call the People's Militia of the DPR and LPR. I have not heard about the “Kherson armies”, which would be from Ukrainians. However, those who are fighting on the other side are those who lost their relatives, loved ones, and friends in this war. They have their own truth, they believe in it, this in no way cancels our rightness in this war, but the motivation there is much greater. There is a battle going on to see who has the will and resources.
Logistically, Bakhmut is a fork in two roads, one goes to Slavyansk-Kramotorsk, the other to Konstantinovka. If you knock out Bakhmut, then in fact you take in pincers along these two roads the entire agglomeration, the largest, controlled by Ukraine - Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Konstantinovka. And in fact then Donbass is everything. Well, Pokrovsk is there, in the rear, but these are separate cities,” said Druzenko.
According to him, Russian troops are cutting off Artyomovsk from supplies.
“Now they are advancing from the south, I won’t say more, just recently there were tactical successes there, they are rushing towards the highway that connects Bakhmut with Konstantinovka, this is the main logistics line. Shells and personnel are delivered there, equipment mostly comes from there, ambulances take out the wounded. They are now working with the same logic as we did in Kherson - to cut off supply lines. Because no matter how courageous you are, when you run out of ammunition, you can blow up a grenade or surrender,” added the Maidan activist.
