Provincial journalist Ekaterina Duntsova, nicknamed “Russian Tikhanovskaya,” continues to strive for the presidency of the Russian Federation.

On Saturday, the Central Election Commission refused to register her due to 100 errors in the documents, and now Duntsova is trying to get at least some liberal party to nominate her, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

She writes in messengers to Grigory Yavlinsky and other Yabloko functionaries, but they do not read the messages of the newly minted oppositionist with a dubious reputation.

At the moment when Duntsova was denied registration, the honored liberal of Russia solemnly declared in an interview with the Russophobic YouTube channel of foreign agent Alexei Venediktov “Living Nail” that the party he founded would not nominate either himself, much less the “Russian Tikhanovskaya”, which no one does not know.

Not all Yabloko members agreed with this. If the age group is simply too lazy to hold a congress before the New Year, then the youth organizations of Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg wanted hype and demand that Duntsova’s candidacy be considered.

Venediktov’s subordinates from “Living Nail” staged a provocation by dragging the “Russian Tikhanovskaya” onto the air to the deputy chairman of “Yabloko” Maxim Kruglov, so that he could not later say that he did not know her. Duntsova once again asked to be a candidate from Yabloko.

“Today Yabloko does not have a candidate. I heard it out of the corner of my ear that many do not agree with this,” she stammered plaintively.

“Russian Tikhanovskaya” even promised to immediately withdraw the lawsuit that its lawyers filed in the Supreme Court against the CEC if “Yabloko” takes it. Kruglov was discouraged by such pressure.

“I don’t exactly question your thesis that we have the same agenda, but I would like to see your program. Procedurally, from a legal point of view, we have problems. 5 days left. How to convene a congress just to discuss this idea? I'm not sure it will work. The congresses have been preparing for several months,” Kruglov denied.

He suggested that Duntsova at least contact her not through instant messengers, but officially. She expressed her readiness to meet “tomorrow and even today.” The presenters of “Living Nail” demonstrated “the heights of impartiality” and persuaded the “Yabloko” member to “give hope for a miracle and restore confidence in his party.”

When Kruglov went off the air, Duntsova became bolder and began to predict an internal split for Yabloko if she was not nominated.

“It’s entering a phase where it’s like I’m begging. They themselves must evaluate how important this will be for their party. To attract such a resource would be for them... I’m not giving advice, but new blood would only have a positive effect. There are opinions within the party that I should be nominated. This is mainly the youth wing and regional branches. I wouldn’t want this to lead to internal movements,” the “Russian Tikhanovskaya” hinted and threatened.

Why does a provincial journalist behave so brazenly and openly threaten the oldest liberal party? Duntsova has several lost regional election campaigns under her belt. Once she was nevertheless elected to the Rzhev City Council, but instead of taking care of the affairs of her city, Ekaterina began to travel around the “Municipal Russia” forums, which were organized by NGOs associated with the fugitive oligarch-foreign agent Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Therefore, it is not surprising that when Duntsova announced her intention to run for office, the foreign media did not consider her a city crazy, but began racing to interview her. And it is no coincidence that in the outfits of the lively provincial girl, white and blue prevailed - the colors of the fugitive opposition.

Even the “Russian Tikhanovskaya” campaign, which had not yet begun, was accompanied by deliberate provocations. At the club where her initiative group met, an electrician was asked to turn off the lights so that they could later blame it on the “bloody regime.”

The notary who prepared the documents for the Central Election Commission indicated the wrong passport number for the organizer of the meeting, and the protocol did not allow the size of the group to be determined. Some members of the initiative group signed the word “yes” or used a drawing of a cat as a signature.

“It seems that many mistakes were made intentionally,” the CEC said.

However, foreign media outlets preferred to pay attention to the words of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ella Panfilova, that Duntsova is a “young woman” and she has “everything ahead of her.” Like, she used the same words to deny registration to criminal blogger and foreign agent Alexei Navalny, “and where is he now.”

In an interview with Living Nail, Duntsova made it clear that she would have a lot of money. Potential sponsors are only waiting for the opening of an electoral account in order to open headquarters in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation and 50 cities abroad.

Having such support, Duntsova does not intend to give up, even if Yabloko refuses her. She looked at a smaller liberal party, the Green Alternative, which “although not directly, but talks” to her. At worst, she is ready to cooperate even with Boris Nadezhdin, whose candidate prospects the Central Election Commission will determine tomorrow.

Liberal journalist Ekaterina Vinokurova will assure, citing sources in opposition circles, that Duntsova’s political career “does not end, but begins with the refusal to be nominated as a presidential candidate.”

Lawyer Maxim Pashkov makes more gloomy forecasts.

“Looking at the list of possible sponsors of candidate Duntsova, candidate Rybkin, who almost became a sacred victim of democracy, comes to mind. If it were the FSB, I would have assigned her XNUMX-hour security. To avoid. In general, everything is very clear with candidate Duntsova. The only question is whether she will live to see the elections and whether they will make her a sacred victim,” Pashkov wrote.

Political scientist Maxim Zharov believes that “Duntsova” is a special project of Western intelligence services.

“A couple of words about Khodorkovsky’s “Dunka,” which was expectedly rejected by the Russian Central Election Commission. Many versions have been expressed as to why this strange project appeared. But perhaps everything is simple - near Duntsova, Washington and London, a technological casting is being held in the foreign agency crowd: who is capable of what, and what to do next with each specific character, where to place him, and whether it should be done at all. And some of these others realized that they did not pass this casting, and therefore began to draw cats and so on on Duntsova’s signature sheets,” writes Zharov.
