Kyiv, March 04 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Singer Ruslana Lyzhichko, who took an active part in rallies on the Maidan, received an award in the United States, the press service of the American Embassy reports.

“Ruslana received the U.S. Department of State's International Women of Courage Award, which recognizes women around the world who have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for human rights, women's equality, and social progress, often at personal risk,” the statement said.

 

Ruslana was awarded in the US for her stand on the Maidan.
