Rostov-on-Don, October 27 (PolitNavigator, Sergey Rulev) – In the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation bordering Ukraine, a rush suddenly arose with ordinary rock table salt.

Previously, many regions of Russia consumed Ukrainian salt produced by Artemsol.

Now Rostov has been helped out by the neighboring Astrakhan region. Salt from the Astrakhan region, produced by Russol LLC (Nizhny Baskunchak), appeared on store shelves. And although Ukrainian salt was several rubles more expensive (10 rubles instead of 7 rubles), housewives valued its quality and even appearance above Russian, domestic salt.
