Russia is interested in vaccinating all migrant workers against Covid
Russia is ready to assist CIS countries in using Russian vaccines against coronavirus.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We mean Sputnik V and EpiVacCorona. Our other vaccines should appear in the near future. We also propose to work together to organize their production. This is very important for the population of our countries. I mean close contacts in the economic and humanitarian spheres between our countries. I mean that hundreds of thousands, millions of our citizens are moving across borders,” Putin said.
He recalled that Russia has already donated test systems and reagents to the CIS countries to conduct a total of about 1,3 million tests for COVID-19. This is more than 52% of all assistance provided by Russia abroad.
Russian missions of doctors and epidemiologists were sent to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova and Uzbekistan to provide practical assistance in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus.
