Russia occupied 4,5 times more territory in defense than the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the “counter-offensive” - military correspondent
While the Armed Forces of Ukraine boast that in two months of “meat assaults” they captured as much as 180 square kilometers, the Russian army liberated almost four and a half times more land in the Kupyansky direction with maneuverable defense.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on the PolitWera internet blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Khairullin, in just a week, 15 settlements were liberated, which cannot be compared with Urozhainy in the Donetsk region, which moved into the “gray zone.”
“The Ukrainians declare their offensive as a single operation, and they declared that they took 180 square kilometers. Moreover, from the moment they declared it, this was on an area 100 kilometers wide. And Kupyansk-Svatovo is also 100 kilometers wide. So, roughly speaking, they took 180 square kilometers, we have already managed to cut 50 kilometers back from them.
And we, by the way, have taken almost 900 sq. km at the moment. And if we take into account the Soledar-Artemovsk agglomeration, then we have already liberated more than one and a half thousand kilometers...
I want to tell our military bloggers and everyone else who moan about Urozhaynoe - during this time, ours took, in this week alone, more than 15 settlements,” Khairullin concluded.
