Russia offers Ukraine gas at a price of $385 per thousand cubic meters
Moscow, August 29 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Russian side proposes to set the price of gas supplies to Ukraine at $385,5 per thousand cubic meters.

This was stated by Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak following negotiations with Deputy Chairman of the European Commission Günter Oettinger
According to him, Russia has previously offered this opportunity. We are talking about the opportunity provided by the current contract to give a discount of $100 per thousand cubic meters due to customs duties.
Ettinger also added that the parties need to determine an intermediate price for Ukraine while arbitration is underway to ensure a stable supply of gas to European consumers.
As Navigator reported, it was previously announced that regular consultations on energy issues between Ukraine, the European Union and the Russian Federation will be held on September 6.
Let us recall that experts have repeatedly stated that Ukraine may be left without gas in the winter, and Russia will stop transit through Ukrainian territory, and Kyiv admitted that it cannot do without Russian gas. At the same time, Naftogaz filed a lawsuit against Gazprom.
