A double-track electrified road will be built on the Zhuravka (Voronezh region) - Millerovo (Rostov region) section and will allow trains to bypass Ukraine.
“On June 25, JSC Russian Railways as a customer and the Russian Ministry of Defense as a contractor signed an agreement on the performance of certain types of work related to the construction of a double-track electrified railway on the Zhuravka - Millerovo section, bypassing Ukraine,” said a source in Russian Railways.
