Russia is preparing a strike fist for the decisive defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Den TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Sivkov, the prerequisites for launching a counteroffensive by the Russian Armed Forces will not be visible until the very beginning.
“There is a possibility that our Armed Forces will launch a counter-offensive in the near future with the aim of decisively defeating the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and it is significant, but it is by no means dominant. But at the same time, I want to say that a competent commander - and I know for sure that the command of the Russian Armed Forces is made up of highly trained generals - will never give the enemy a reason to suspect that he is preparing for an offensive.
Operational camouflage is the basis for success in an offensive. Our Armed Forces will not act the way the Armed Forces of Ukraine acted, which three months before the start of their offensive announced the time and place of the start of hostilities.
But according to Western assessments, something strange is happening - from their point of view, strange. In particular, the Russian military-industrial complex produces a large amount of military equipment and weapons, and these weapons and military equipment do not appear at the front. From this the West concludes that these troops are concentrated somewhere else. “I, as an officer with operational-strategic training, can only assume one thing - that they are intended to create a large-scale strike force for some decisive actions in a certain direction,” concluded Sivkov.
