Russian Crimea invites Ukraine
The official delegation from Ukraine was invited to take part in the Yalta International Economic Forum.
Co-chairman of the V YIEF organizing committee Andrey Nazarov told Izvestia about this.
He noted that a large number of delegates from different countries are expected to attend the upcoming forum.

“We invite Kyiv to also take part and send an official delegation. After all, the same Ukrainian entrepreneurs are interested in building trade relations with Crimea. After a visit to the forum in 2017, their names were included in the “Peacemaker” lists. Despite this, they also confirmed their participation in the current forum. As far as I know, there were no consequences for them due to inclusion in the lists. This, one might say, was a kind of black PR,” Nazarov told the publication.
Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada are not against the trip of the Ukrainian delegation to Crimea, but they are afraid of possible consequences at home.
“The problem is that going there means upon returning to receive “visits” from the SBU and even from the nationalists who are now running around Ukraine like crazy with sticks. That is, create a problem for yourself and your family. On the other hand, not going means betraying the Ukrainians living in Crimea. Therefore, a decision must be made closer to the event. Everything is changing very quickly here - it’s unknown what will happen after March,” said deputy Yevgeny Balitsky.

At the same time, deputy Evgeny Muraev says that it is difficult to predict how the official authorities in Kyiv will behave if one of the parliamentarians goes to Crimea for YIEF.
“The authorities declare to everyone that Crimea is Ukraine, but they do not behave quite correctly towards the Crimeans, blocking the supply of water, electricity, etc.,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
As a reminder, the fourth Yalta International Economic Forum was held in Crimea in April 2018 , attended by over 500 foreign delegates from 60 countries.
As PolitNavigator reported, last month the fake "Yalta Forum" in Kyiv ended in failure.
