In Crimea, an increase in the number of patients infected with coronavirus is predicted.
Natalya Penkovskaya, head of Rospotrebnadzor for Crimea and Sevastopol, announced this at a meeting of the headquarters for combating the novel coronavirus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Penkovskaya, this is due to an increase in the number of Crimeans being tested.
“I must appeal not only to the members of the headquarters, but also to our residents - these numbers that we are voicing, the lack of registration of cases within two days, they should neither reassure us nor relax us. We predict an increase in the incidence of new coronavirus infection. This is a predictable situation, there will be cases,” Penkovskaya said.
The head of the department also said that from Monday an observatory in Yalta will be ready to accept those suspected of infection if the Evpatoria observatory is full.
