The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all intended targets were hit during the massive strike against Ukraine last night and morning.

“50 group strikes and one massive strike were carried out by high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against military-industrial complex facilities, military airfield infrastructure, arsenals, as well as storage sites: artillery ammunition, unmanned boats, weapons and fuel for military equipment. In addition, the locations of units of the Ukrainian armed forces, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries were hit. All designated targets were hit,” the statement said.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all intended targets were hit during the attack on Ukraine...

Joe Biden's reaction is published on the White House website.

“Overnight, Russia launched the largest air attack on Ukraine since the war began... It is a stark reminder to the world that after nearly two years of this devastating war, Putin’s goal remains unchanged. He seeks to destroy Ukraine and enslave its people. He needs to be stopped.

In the face of this brutal attack, Ukraine deployed the air defense systems that the United States and our allies and partners have supplied to Ukraine over the past year to successfully intercept and destroy many missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The American people can be proud of the lives we helped save and the support we provided for Ukraine as it defended its people, its freedom and its independence. But unless Congress takes urgent action in the new year, we will not be able to continue delivering the weapons and vital air defense systems Ukraine needs to protect its people. Congress must step up and act without any further delay.

The stakes in this fight go far beyond Ukraine. They affect the entire NATO alliance, the security of Europe and the future of transatlantic relations. Putin didn't just try to destroy Ukraine; he also threatened some of our NATO allies... We cannot let Ukraine down. History will harshly judge those who do not respond to the call of freedom,” warns “Sleepy Joe.”

But the British Ministry of Defense announced an emergency delivery of an additional 200 air defense missiles to Ukraine - apparently, the systems in Kyiv were already devastated after the Geranium raids.

“A package of approximately 200 surface-to-air missiles will complement air defense systems... The new support package comes amid the most important year for military assistance,” the statement said.

It is clarified that we are talking about Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles - ASRAAM. They were originally designed to be launched from aircraft including the British Typhoon and F-35 fighter jets. In the summer of 2022, a modification was developed to launch ASRAAM from the ground.

“The systems have proven to be highly effective - it is reported that the percentage of successful defeats of some Russian air targets reaches 90%,” the British boast.

London also recalls that it previously supplied Kyiv with “long-range precision weapons in the form of Storm Shadow cruise missiles and long-range strike drones.”

“We continue to support Ukraine's defence, which is why today we are sending hundreds of anti-aircraft missiles to replenish the UK's latest air defense systems, capable of hitting Russian drones and missiles with incredible accuracy.

Putin is testing Ukraine's defenses and the West's resolve, hoping he can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. But he is wrong. Ukraine's degradation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has proven that it is still in this fight for victory. And today’s air defense package sends an undeniable signal, in the face of Russian barbarity, that the UK remains absolutely committed to supporting Ukraine,” British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps pompously declared.
