Reva proposes to go to the rear of the Russians through underground tunnels
Ukraine needs to come up with something unexpected to break through the Russian defense line and achieve the desired result.
Former Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva, who held the post under President Poroshenko, stated this in an interview with journalist Oleksandr Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Unless something unexpected is invented now to overcome the fortifications, it will be very difficult for us to achieve decisive success. What could be unexpected? It is necessary, studying previous experience, to look at how the Chinese fought in Korea in 1951. There they had the same problem - the dominance of American aviation in the air, the complete fire superiority of the American army, well-fortified positions,” the ex-minister said.
“What did the Chinese volunteers do? They dug underground tunnels. They went outside behind the backs of the American soldiers. And this caused terrible panic among the defenders and forced the American command to reconsider how to deal with these mole tactics of China.
And they threw the Americans back beyond the 38th parallel, thanks to such actions. Yes, it was hard, scary, but they found a fairly effective way to bypass these defensive lines of the American army... In order to achieve some decisive success, we must come up with something non-standard,” says Reva.
