"Russia has the resources, unfortunately": Kyiv fears another attack tonight
Russia is increasing production of ballistic missiles that Ukrainian air defenses cannot intercept, and is also upgrading the Geran missiles, making them harder to target.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat , on the air of the "United Marathon", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
" Unfortunately, Russia has the resources to produce missiles . But they can't be produced quickly; they're high-tech weapons, and the assembly process takes time. Russia could focus more on producing ballistic missiles rather than cruise missiles—that's possible ."
"We often talk about attack UAVs, and the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) category has also seen corresponding changes. UAVs with improved performance, more resistant to electronic warfare systems, are emerging, as are jet-powered drones with relatively high-speed flight parameters. These UAVs also pose certain challenges for air defense systems, requiring the use of both air-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft guided missiles against them," Ignat stated.
He fears that Russia could strike again the following night.
"They may hold off on some things ; you see the frequency is, on average, about once every ten days, but they could also extend the intervals and strike the following day. We need to be prepared for the possibility that the enemy might repeat the attack, and not ignore the air raid siren ."
