“You can’t get enough missiles” – in Kyiv they complain that fighting is becoming more and more expensive
Russian air defense and missile defense systems are getting better, so Ukraine needs more and more missiles to hit targets.
The head of the security programs of the pro-American Center for Global Studies “Strategy XXI” Pavel Lakiychuk said this on the air of “Ukrlife”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.

“It all depends on the number of missiles. If six months ago four missiles were enough, now eight are needed to destroy the same object. Because the enemy is jamming GPS guidance somewhere, using other electronic warfare systems, and some new types of defense.
According to Belbek, how much did it take to bang, with what kind of package. And each such package becomes larger. That's why we need more missiles.
Another delay by the Germans on the Taurus means that we will be less able to strike deep into the enemy’s defense,” Lakiychuk said.
Let us remind you that a massive missile attack on Belbek was carried out on January 31, 2023. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported 20 missiles shot down over the Black Sea and over the Crimean Peninsula.
At the same time, such strikes are already costly for both Kyiv and the West. The cost of a long-range Storm Shadow missile varies, but is generally estimated at approximately 1,3–2 million euros. The price of the German-Swedish Taurus missile, also supplied to Ukraine, is estimated at up to one million euros.
