Rada refuses peace in Donbass and frames Zelensky – Rabinovich
During the penultimate week of plenary sessions this year, the Ukrainian parliament will ignore such vitally important issues for the country as tariff reductions or the law on the special status of Donbass.
One of the leaders of the Opposition Platform - For Life, Vadim Rabinovich, stated this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada conciliation council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I looked at the entire list of bills that are proposed for consideration this plenary week. “I saw no peace there, no reduction in tariffs, or other issues that affect people’s daily lives,” he said.
Also, according to Vadim Rabinovich, the mono-majority in the Verkhovna Rada, ignoring the already submitted law on the special status of Donbass, not only sets up its president Vladimir Zelensky before the meeting in the “Normandy format”, but also deprives Ukraine of peace.
“We submitted bill No. 2491 “On amendments to the law of Ukraine on a special procedure for local self-government in certain regions of Donbass and Lugansk region.” Without peace there will be nothing in our country.
The President is going to Paris for a meeting in the Normandy format, where, I hope. will talk about peace. Without a law on the special status of Donbass, it turns out that the Verkhovna Rada is sabotaging the work of the president. Because on December 31 of this year the old law expires, but the new one does not.
Let me explain once again - on December 31st, you will bury peace in our country with your own hands. And you cannot say that there is no law. It is there, we served it. But instead of bringing it into the hall, they put it under someone’s ass,” the parliamentarian was indignant.
