The resignation of the Russian government and the appointment of a new prime minister means that a transfer of power has truly begun in Russia.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this in an interview on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, a subject of the nationalist Kyiv regime compared the Russian political system with Azerbaijan and Belarus.
“There really is a transit of power. We need to make sure that Putin leaves, but stays. All post-Soviet authoritarian regimes - Belarusian, Russian, Azerbaijani - are “personalist” regimes, when everything is concentrated in the hands of one person.
It’s good when this person is the intersection of many centers of influence. Why did this happen to Putin? On the one hand, he was supported by liberals - Gref, Chubais, etc., because he is for a market economy.
On the other hand, the sovereigns, because he is for a strong state.
For them it was a point of balance. And he kept it for 20 years. Now it’s hard to hold on because interests are starting to diverge.
Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that these interests receive personal expression. Hence the transition to a depersonalized mode. There will not be an autocratic leader who will have all the powers like Putin.
And there is no need to exaggerate about Putin - there are many “towers”, influence groups and so on. He sorted it all out like a dispatcher,” says Karasev.
