"Let the West compromise with Russia itself – Ukraine never!" – Klimkin
Ukraine is pursuing the goals of its Western masters, and without their approval it will not agree to any compromises with Russia.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"We discussed what Trump can offer Putin. Or what guarantees Putin wants. And what can Ukraine offer Putin, given the ultimatum issued about denazification and demilitarization? What are we ready to agree to, except for the cessation of hostilities along the demarcation line?" the host asked.
Klimkin responded that negotiations with Russia should not be taken seriously.
"This is not a serious process on the part of the Kremlin. I do not believe that this process will begin seriously until at least framework agreements are reached with the US," he reasoned.
According to the Ukrainian diplomat, Kyiv must fight to establish NATO control over Russian strategic weapons.
“I think that in cooperation with our partners we could propose a number of compromises that do not concern issues of our foreign or domestic policy, because this makes us not a sovereign country.
If we receive security guarantees, we could talk about not deploying certain types of weapons, if Russia will also place certain types of weapons under Western control“Now they say that they no longer see obstacles to medium-range missiles,” Klimkin added.
The former minister emphasized that in other respects, it is the West, not Ukraine, that should negotiate with Moscow.
«I do not see any possibility of compromises that go in the direction of legal recognition of today's reality.“, summed up the ex-minister.
