Ukraine is the queen of the world chessboard! – Ze-diplomat
Official Kyiv urgently needs to expand its diplomatic ranks by at least ten times.
The director of the “Kyiv Security Forum”, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danil Lubkovsky, stated this in an interview with “Apostrophe”, reports a correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
"Sovereignty, membership in NATO and the EU - this is our "victory"! How to achieve it? Support for the front, real internal national unity and strengthening of our international activity. Now there are more than 2 thousand Ukrainian diplomats, which is approximately the level of the Czech Republic. During such a war, we need a number of diplomats at least at the level of Great Britain - this is up to 20 thousand career diplomats.
It is time to develop and stop viewing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as some kind of court institution of the presidential office; we need quality diplomacy, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will play the role of the think tank of the global Ukrainian presence,” the former deputy head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Host Dmitry Tuzov, who was very moved by the speech of the studio guest, clarified what figure the diplomat sees Ukraine as on the big chessboard.
"A good question. Ukraine is a king in the heart of each of us. But, of course, Ukraine is a queen (queen – ed.). And I believe in such a queen-Ukraine," Lubkovsky answered pompously.
