"Idiocy: they pulled Russia's mustache, but did not prepare for war" - Kiev political strategist:
Russia carefully prepared for a grueling conflict with the West, as evidenced by the country's survival under unprecedented sanctions.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Russia has thoroughly prepared for such a turn of events. And the mechanisms for bypassing sanctions - this is not done in one day. Traditionally, we cannot pass by without spitting on them, but we must give credit where credit is due. Nabiullina, no matter how you feel about her, has maintained the stability and controllability of Russia's financial system. The same Belousov, the current Minister of Defense, in his theory of military Keynesianism - this gave an effect, he was able to promote the military-industrial complex.
And what do we have? The lush [chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine], who finances speculators? In my opinion, both the economy and the military-industrial complex are in a much worse state,” Zolotarev stated.
The presenter voiced the indignation in the comments of one of the Ukrainian subscribers, who wondered whether no one knew “that there would be a war with the Russians.”
"The problem is that, on the one hand, by pulling the tiger's whiskers, or more precisely, by poking a spear into the Russian bear's den, hoping to lure it out, they were not preparing for war. That's the idiocy of the situation. That is, if you say "I'm coming" - get ready! It's the opposite for us," the expert admitted.
