“Direct benefit”: Poland is seeking the complete destruction of Ukrainian agriculture - expert
It is not profitable for Poland to unite with Ukraine.
Belarusian political scientist Petr Petrovsky stated this on air at Alfa Radio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Poland and Ukraine are natural competitors in agriculture. Those people who came up with the idea of a union between Poland and Ukraine do not represent the national interests of Poland. Because Ukraine has a better climate. Ukraine can flood Poland with cheap grain and other agricultural products and destroy Polish farming, reduce it to zero,” Petrovsky said.
He believes that Poland is pursuing an anti-Ukrainian policy within the EU and will continue to do so even if Brussels stops supporting it.
“Poland has built an agricultural coalition with other Eastern European EU member states that border Ukraine. In addition to Poland, this coalition includes Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. They say: we will not allow Ukrainian agricultural products to pass even in transit to the EU. This started last year,” Petrovsky noted.
