The failure of Belomaidan saved Zelensky from complete oblivion in Europe
The EU provides at least the slightest assistance to Kyiv only because, against the backdrop of events in Belarus, it is afraid of losing influence on Ukraine.
The deputy chairman of the nationalist party “Svoboda”, banned in the Russian Federation, the former vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Nazi Ruslan Koshulinsky, said this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I will bring it down to the sinful earth so that we don’t talk about merit - “oh, how Europe loved us.” Maximum pragmatic, geopolitical...
These events happened today, in my opinion, only because the events took place in Belarus. The European Union has practically lost influence on Belarus. Considering that today Muscovy’s influence – both political and military – is very active in Ukraine, the European Union, as a very pragmatic institution, as pragmatic as possible, understands that if Ukraine is not attracted to itself, Russia’s influence may increase.
Therefore, this summit (bilateral summit Ukraine - EU - ed.) shows that the Ukrainian authorities need to make the most of today’s time, taking advantage of the fact that Great Britain has left the European Union. And today she forms her policy, her order of the day, and she wants to show her power, Ukraine also needs to use this as effectively as possible,” the nationalist realized.
“Therefore, there is definitely no great merit in this summit from the Ukrainian side, but there is a political order of the day, a geopolitical order of the day, which must be used very effectively, very quickly. This is in the national interests of Ukraine,” Koshulinsky urges.
At the same time, as PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv experts acknowledged the summit's results as a complete failure ; the meeting did not result in any sensational outcomes for Ukraine .
