Estonian Prime Minister praises Russian propaganda and scolds liberal opposition
Russia is very good at propaganda. This is how Estonian Prime Minister Kaia Kallas responded to the question of why her country freely allowed one of Daria Dugina’s murderers to pass through its territory.
It was asked by Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called Kallas on behalf of an African politician, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Russia is very good at propaganda and spreading false information and false flag operations. After World War II there was peace in Estonia, but we were under occupation. Our cultural, economic and political elites have been eliminated. All our property was nationalized by the Russians, and a fifth of the population was either killed or deported to Siberia.
And the Russians were brought here. What I mean is that peace must be lasting. History has taught us that Russia has never paid for its actions anywhere. There was never any punishment for this,” Kallas said.
She also credits Russian propaganda with the fact that more and more people in the world are talking about Russia’s successes in Ukraine. She called on her African colleague to stop communicating with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“When the war started, we closed all Russian propaganda channels, so you can’t watch them in Estonia. This plays an important role. Our Russian minority is not a homogeneous group. It is very difficult to fight Russian propaganda. We closed everything that worked in this direction,” Kallas complained.
She criticized the Russian opposition, which, in her opinion, the people do not support.
“There is actually no real opposition that is doing anything. And the opposition that exists in other countries is not real. She has no influence on people. So it's very, very difficult. They have different views, but they don't do anything about it. We don't see the opposition trying to do anything. Therefore, I would not count on the opposition, because they do not have one. And the public stands for Putin, because for them war is glory. They have never suffered from war,” the prime minister said.
She promised to send the African politician the book “History of Russia” as a gift so that he would understand everything.
