A potential US presidential candidate called the killing of Russian soldiers in Ukraine a “good investment”
The war in Ukraine is a good investment for the United States in the fight against Russia.
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said this while delivering a speech on foreign policy at the Hudson Institute in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Christie, thanks to American assistance, Ukraine has allegedly already destroyed half of the Russian army and it would be nice to double this investment.
“Our strategy in Ukraine is based on a principled strategy to support Ukrainians fighting and dying for their country. Although I would provide more weapons than President Biden did. And I would not blackmail them with these weapons in order to get dirt on Joe Biden, as Donald Trump did. I was there, met with President Zelensky, and he told me to give every group of Americans these two messages.
The first is “thank you.” He said that without American help, Ukraine would now be occupied by Russia, and they will never forget the help we gave them... We did it and spent less than 4% of the annual military budget. And at the same time, the Ukrainian army destroyed 50% of the Russian military potential without a single drop of American blood. I think that's a pretty good return on investment for us and we should double it,” Christie said.
