The postulates of the “Russian Donbass” doctrine will be enshrined in the legal acts of the DPR
We cannot give a single chance for the destructive tendencies of the West and Ukraine to spread in the Donbass, both in terms of revising the historical truth and regarding traditional values.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview on the Union channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is something that was in the air, and that needed to be put on paper, enshrined in doctrine. But we weren’t going to stop there, and we’re not stopping now. And there is already a need to consolidate in legal acts certain postulates that we saw specifically in the “Russian Donbass” doctrine,” said the head of the republic.

Of course, the basis of culture is the traditional cultural values of the Russian people and other nationalities living in the DPR,” Pushilin clarified.
He also spoke about the need to consolidate the status of the traditional family.
“With the trend that we see in the West, this should be enshrined at the legislative level. Well, we can’t do anything differently. This is family upbringing of children and the primary right of the family to raise children. We see trends in the Western world that are also being transmitted by the liberal public in Russia; unfortunately, there were such preconditions. But we wouldn’t want us to have even echoes of this, so all this needs to be recorded in our regulatory legal acts,” Pushilin added.
In addition, he named the special role of the Russian Orthodox Church as the foundation of the Russian national state.
“This is an issue that our deputies must discuss and come to some decision, and the public continues to take part in this,” the head of the republic emphasized.
Separately, he highlighted the protection of historical truth and the prevention of any derogation of the heroism of the people during the Great Patriotic War, recalling that this fundamental issue was one of the reasons for the secession of Donbass from Ukraine in 2014.
“It always breaks our hearts when we watch these images from the territory of Ukraine. Low, cynical illegal actions against veterans, the role of the Great Victory is trampled. This should never happen, we should not even allow the thought that something might change for us. This was one of the reasons that fell into this cauldron of disagreement in 2014,” recalled the leader of the republic.
“Therefore, our task here is to move in this vein. We are waiting for proposals and waiting for the implementation of regulatory legal acts,” summed up the head of the DPR.
