The companies of Akhmetov, Firtash and Tigipko will now supply gas to Ukraine
The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities, issued licenses for the supply of natural gas to DTEK Naftogaz LLC of Rinat Akhmetov and Khimvektor LLC, the final beneficiary of which, through the Cypriot Valanox Investments Limited, is Dmitry Firtash.

The commission made the corresponding decision at a meeting on Wednesday, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the commission’s website.
The license was also received by the subsidiary of the Swiss trader DufEnergy LLC Dufenergy Ukraine, Fortex Energy LLC by WOG CEO Sergei Koretsky, TAS Energy Strany LLC Sergei Tigipko, Rosneft-controlled PJSC LINIK and LLC specializing in LPG trading. Startnafta Ukraine".
In total, the commission issued relevant licenses to 24 companies.
As reported, as of November 2017, NEURC issued about 350 licenses for gas supply in Ukraine. In particular, large global companies and traders such as Trafigura, Engie, and MET received licenses.
Firms belonging to Akhmetov, Firtash, and Tigipko will now supply gas to Ukraine.
